Groups

Stoke-on-Trent South u3a operates some 28 groups covering a wide range of activities. You may view the individual group pages below: alaphabetically; by category; by meeting date; and by venue. You will then be able to determine the start time, length of each session, and group leader contact details. Some groups meet weekly/fortnightly, and others when group members agree. It is recommended that the group leader is contacted directly before a first attendance.

Group leaders. together with committee members, are volunteers and more of course are very welcome. Whilst the majority of interest groups require an attendance fee of £1 only, events that require transport and maybe an entrance fee (e.g. to a Museum or Garden Centre) do result in extra personal expenditure.

Groups are run for the members by the members. You don't need to be an expert, merely an enthusiatic member. If you would like to lead a new group, please speak to a member of the committee.
