The u3a provides life enhancing opportunities to individuals who have retired or are semi-retired. It provides many opportunities to do something different and at the same time make many new friends. You will have the chance to develop new skills, and share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups, such that retirement will be a pleasure. Members may pursue learning not to gain formal qualifications, but for fun and in good company. All you need is interest and enthusiasm.

Stoke-on-Trent South u3a

Stoke-on -Trent South u3a was founded in 2011. It has a membership from all areas within North Staffordshire, and is a constantly growing group with over 400 members. Members can belong to as many groups as they wish. Activities can be educational, creative, or recreational, but whatever group you choose you will make new friends and find new interests. We are always looking for new friends to join us, and particularly for new group leaders to share their skills and knowledge.

Members of Stoke-on-Trent South u3a are entitled to attend activities and social events organized by neighbouring u3as without having to pay an additional membership fee.
